Pakistani technology company Zuma Resources Limited has established a UK subsidiary, Zuma Global Ltd, as part of its strategy to expand its digital connectivity and technology business internationally.
The company said it has begun formal regulatory engagement with the Office of Communications (Ofcom), the UK communications regulator, while taking steps to align its operations, customer framework and digital platforms with applicable UK regulatory and consumer-compliance requirements.
Zuma Global Ltd is expected to offer digital eSIMs, physical SIMs and other connectivity solutions through Zuma’s technology platforms, including its global eSIM marketplace. The company plans to gradually introduce and market its SIM and digital connectivity services in the UK, subject to regulatory, commercial and technical requirements.
According to Zuma Resources, establishing the UK subsidiary marks another step in its international expansion strategy, with the UK expected to become an important market and operating base for its global digital connectivity business.
Zuma Resources Limited, formerly known as Bilal Fibres Limited, was incorporated in Pakistan in 1987 and was initially involved in yarn manufacturing and sales, with exports to Europe, the Far East and the Middle East. The company changed its name to Zuma Resources Limited in August 2025.
Following its transformation, the company has expanded its focus toward investments, partnerships and collaborations in technology, AI-enabled services, health tech, EV technology, e-commerce and related sectors.
