The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has launched a centralised digital ticketing hub to streamline investor facilitation by making the handling of queries and requests faster, more coordinated and transparent.
The platform provides investors with a structured digital channel to submit queries, raise requests and track their progress through different stages. According to SIFC, the system enables requests to be monitored from initiation to follow-up, improving visibility and coordination among relevant authorities.
The ticketing hub is also designed to strengthen case tracking and ensure investor concerns are communicated to the appropriate channels for timely follow-up. Investors can use the platform to remain updated on the status of their submitted requests.
Meanwhile, SIFC Secretary Jamil Qureshi told the National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Division that the council has developed an investment pipeline worth around $40 billion covering sectors including industry, oil and gas, railways, roads, power, telecom, IT, pharmaceuticals, tourism and agriculture.
The committee also discussed Pakistan’s $60 billion export target for 2030, with members raising concerns over high input costs, including gas and electricity prices, tight monetary policy and high taxation.
SIFC further informed the committee that the prime minister has directed authorities to actively pursue stalled and delayed projects involving the UAE and other countries, with greater coordination and facilitation aimed at moving them toward implementation.
