Pakistan's real estate sector is entering a new chapter, marked by a drive for greater professionalism, transparency, and disciplined growth. This shift is being championed by developers committed to executing projects with global-standard integrity and vision.
In an interview with Business Recorder, Dr. Mohamed Mansour, the new CEO of the luxury development Eighteen, affirmed his role in this transformation. "The market will be shaped by developers with vision and integrity—and Eighteen is part of that transformation, setting a new standard for what luxury real estate in Pakistan can and should represent," he stated.
A Focused Mandate: Speed and Quality
Dr. Mansour brings over two decades of international experience in large-scale infrastructure and mixed-use projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and previously served as Group Chief Technical Officer for Ora Developers, Eighteen’s parent company.
His objective is unequivocal: to deliver Eighteen with speed, precision, and uncompromising quality.
“Eighteen is an extraordinary project with immense potential,” Dr. Mansour said. “My vision is to establish it as Pakistan’s most reliably delivered and prestigious luxury community. The focus now is on accelerating construction, elevating quality standards, and transforming this development into a thriving, world-class neighbourhood.”
This leadership change—from Group CTO to CEO of Eighteen—signals Ora Developers' heightened commitment to delivery. Dr. Mansour emphasized that construction excellence is now the absolute core priority. He believes that visible progress on the ground is the most effective way to reinforce trust among customers and investors, stating, "We are enforcing the strictest global quality standards across all stages of construction."
Strategic Roadmap and Economic Impact
Key to the project's success is the anticipated dedicated slip road from the Srinagar Highway, a vital infrastructure link expected to commence execution shortly after final approvals.
The CEO also noted the project's wider economic benefit, contributing to job creation and confirming Ora Developers' strong confidence in Pakistan's long-term growth. This is supported by the government's efforts, including the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which is encouraging large-scale foreign investment.
Eighteen is also exploring strategic expansion, with ongoing discussions for potential joint ventures with the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Islamabad and Karachi.
Dr. Mansour concluded that the mission is to "deliver faster, better, and with the integrity" that defines the company, cementing Eighteen’s place as the country's premier luxury address.
