TikTok rolls out self-serve ad tools in Pakistan to boost small business growth

Video-sharing platform TikTok has introduced a new self-serve advertising solution in Pakistan as part of its expansion strategy, aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) strengthen their brands and reach more customers. The company said the move is designed to provide local entrepreneurs, homegrown labels and growing enterprises with simple, flexible and cost-effective tools to connect with TikTok’s highly engaged user base.

According to TikTok, the TikTok For Business Ads Manager is a self-service platform that lets SMBs tap into the creativity of the TikTok community, reach new audiences and fine-tune their marketing campaigns through an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. The launch builds on the platform’s earlier efforts, including its #GrowWithTikTok Masterclass, which has already offered Pakistani SMBs practical training, creative resources and best practices to improve their presence on the app.

The company cited a recent global survey showing that 73 per cent of users discovered products they had never considered before through TikTok ads, while 78pc said the platform helped them find brands they had not heard of previously. With the self-service Ads Manager, businesses of all sizes can now create campaigns, manage budgets and optimise performance without needing specialist advertising expertise, it added.

TikTok noted that as more consumers in Pakistan turn to the app to explore products, reviews and trends, the new tools will give SMBs a powerful way to join these conversations and extend their visibility, including to audiences beyond the country’s borders. Baris Aldanmaz, TikTok’s head of global business solutions for Turkiye, Central and Southern Asia, praised Pakistani small businesses as among the most creative in the region and said the platform is proud to support their growth.

He stressed that brands on TikTok can produce meaningful content that sparks conversation and builds communities, and that TikTok For Business Ads Manager makes it easier than ever for neighbourhood shops, fashion labels and online start-ups to reach new audiences and tell their stories. TikTok also highlighted features such as robust creative tools and a performance-based targeting system, saying these are designed to help marketers embrace the creativity and authenticity of the TikTok community while presenting the most genuine version of their brands.

The Ads Manager has been built for quick setup regardless of users’ experience level, with flexible budgeting options that allow businesses to adjust spending at any time. Its performance targeting feature is intended to increase brand visibility by using intelligent targeting to connect companies with new, engaged audiences. TikTok concluded that a growing number of brands are recognising the platform’s unique ability to reach and engage wider audiences, and that the new advertising solution for SMBs makes it simple, seamless and efficient for all brands to build meaningful connections with the TikTok community.
