Saudi Business Delegation Visits SIFC, Explores Pak Investment

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are moving to deepen their economic partnership as a high-level Saudi business delegation led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council, visited the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to explore investment opportunities across key sectors.

The visit provided a platform to strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia economic and commercial ties and advance mutually beneficial investment initiatives. The SIFC facilitated meetings between the Saudi delegation and senior government officials, relevant stakeholders and leading private-sector representatives.

The discussions covered investment opportunities in power, petroleum, privatisation, industries, communications and highways, with both Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) investment frameworks examined.

According to the SIFC, the engagements focused on priority sectors offering significant potential for Saudi investment and collaboration. The visit also reflected growing interest among Saudi investors in Pakistan’s diverse investment landscape.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan wants to transform its economic relationship with Saudi Arabia into a mutually beneficial strategic economic partnership, aligned with the vision of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

During a meeting with the Saudi delegation, the prime minister expressed hope that the visit would build on previous discussions and lead to the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and investment agreements across multiple sectors.

The latest engagement highlights the growing momentum in Pakistan-Saudi economic relations and efforts to attract foreign investment through the SIFC framework.
