The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Financial Accounting and Budgeting System (FABS) and the Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA). This agreement is a major step toward modernizing the RDA's financial operations by implementing the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The collaboration, approved by Director General Kinza Murtaza, is designed to bring greater transparency, efficiency, and digitalization to all financial transactions within the RDA. The SAP ERP platform, a globally recognized system, will automate processes for budgeting, payments, and other financial activities.
This digital shift is expected to enhance internal controls, minimize manual work, and provide real-time financial reports. According to DG Kinza Murtaza, the initiative is a significant milestone in the RDA's digital transformation, aligning the authority with the government's vision for e-governance, transparency, and accountability.
