ISLAMABAD: Jazz has announced the successful completion of its 100% 4G network upgrade across its Central A and Central B regions — covering areas from Jhelum in the north to Sadiqabad in the south. The move promises faster internet speeds, stronger connectivity, and an improved digital experience for millions of customers in Punjab.
This milestone builds on Jazz’s status as Pakistan’s first telecom operator to fully shut down 3G and reallocate all spectrum to 4G. Currently, over 53 million subscribers are benefiting from enhanced coverage, faster data speeds, and improved service reliability. Digital services now contribute nearly one-fourth of the company’s revenue.
With nearly 75% of Jazz’s customer base on 4G, users have greater access to mobile banking, video streaming, e-learning, telehealth, and other digital lifestyle solutions, furthering the company’s vision of becoming a leading “Service Co.”
Kazim Mujtaba, President of Jazz’s Consumer Division, remarked: “Our focus on delivering a reliable 4G network is transforming millions of lives. By expanding access to healthcare, education, finance, and entertainment services, we are creating a more inclusive digital future for Pakistan.”
Jazz’s Chief Technology Officer, Khalid Shehzad, added: “Achieving 100% 4G coverage in the Central A and B regions is a proud milestone. It demonstrates our commitment to bridging the digital divide and enabling new opportunities through stronger connectivity.”
This accomplishment cements Jazz’s position as Pakistan’s leading digital operator. Looking forward, the company plans to extend its 4G expansion into more provinces, continuing its mission to connect more Pakistanis and reduce the digital gap.
