Gold Prices Dip in Pakistan Following Global Market Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan moved downward on Monday, tracking a decline in international market rates.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,300, settling at Rs428,936. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,972, bringing the rate to Rs367,743.

This local shift follows a broader trend seen over the weekend, when the per-tola price had already dropped by Rs1,000 on Saturday to reach Rs431,236. The domestic decline mirrors movement in the international market, where gold prices dropped by $23 to reach $4,065 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Additionally, the price of silver experienced a decrease, falling by Rs69 to settle at Rs6,324 per tola.
