Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Friday, with the price of gold per tola increasing by Rs5,200 to Rs477,136, in line with gains in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold also climbed by Rs4,458 to Rs409,067.
In the international market, gold gained $52 to reach $4,547 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Silver prices in Pakistan also increased, rising Rs210 to Rs7,379 per tola.
