The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has greenlit the recruitment of a specialized "city curator" team to reimagine Islamabad as a premier destination for tourism and culture. During a high-level board meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Sohail Ashraf, officials approved the hiring of creative consultants tasked with elevating the capital’s urban landscape.
This team will focus on enhancing public spaces, parks, and green belts through modern urban design and aesthetic improvements.
This initiative is a key component of a larger vision to modernize Islamabad and enhance its visual identity for both international visitors and local residents.
By improving the design of public infrastructure and expanding green environments, the CDA aims to foster a more vibrant urban culture while boosting the city’s appeal as a modern tourism center.
