The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have launched a major digital transformation initiative to make public services more accessible through the PAK App. The initiative allows citizens and businesses to access services such as property tax, water bill payments, parking permits, advertising permissions, municipal approvals and other civic services through their mobile phones.
Under the digital system, users can submit applications, upload documents, track application status, make online payments where available and register complaints without repeated visits to government offices. The move towards cashless, contactless and paperless services is expected to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability while reducing reliance on traditional counter-based procedures.
The initiative is part of CDA and MCI’s broader efforts to modernise Islamabad’s civic administration and move towards a smarter, more citizen-centric digital service delivery model.
