Founded in 1924 in Worcester by Theodore Tonna and Angelo Cotsidas, Table Talk Pies grew into a regional pie brand. In 1958, they acquired Frisbie Pie Company—later inspiring the frisbee. Under Beech-Nut in the 1960s, operations shuttered, but in 1986 Tonna’s son-in-law revived it. Since then, they've expanded, built new plants, opened a retail store in 2017, and became a key supplier to Walmart
