Pakistani EdTech startup Edversity has secured a strategic investment from Rapidev Group at LEAP 2026, supporting the expansion of its AI-powered education platform into Saudi Arabia, the GCC and other international markets.
The investment was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed during LEAP 2026, Saudi Arabia’s major technology and innovation event. The partnership will focus on advancing technology, education and workforce development.
Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Khawaja attended the signing ceremony.
Under the strategic partnership, Edversity will gain access to capital, engineering expertise, operational support and international business networks to accelerate its next stage of growth.
The startup has also received support from BridgeStart Pakistan for its expansion into Saudi Arabia, including participation in The Garage acceleration programme. The initiative connected Edversity with Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem, business networks, market opportunities and potential international scaling avenues.
Founded in Pakistan in 2021 and supported by Ignite under the Ministry of IT and Telecom, Edversity has trained more than 12,500 learners in emerging fields including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data and blockchain. The company said its placement rate has exceeded 70% across selected cohorts.
Rapidev said the investment would help Edversity expand internationally while further developing its AI-powered education platform. The partnership is also expected to strengthen collaboration and create new opportunities in technology and workforce development.
Edversity said the deal highlights growing international confidence in Pakistan’s technology and education ecosystem and the ability of Pakistani startups to develop solutions for global markets.
At LEAP 2026, Edversity participated in discussions on AI education and workforce development while exhibiting alongside Rapics and Owlsense under the Rapidev Group of Companies.
Held in Riyadh from August 31 to September 3, LEAP 2026 brought together technology companies, startups, investors, policymakers and innovators from around the world.
