Environmental approvals are required for projects exceeding 2 or more floors, covering large areas, or located near protected zones.

Steps:

  1. Hire a licensed environmental consultant
  2. Conduct an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
  3. Submit EIA Report to your provincial Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):
    • Punjab EPA (Lahore)
    • Sindh EPA (Karachi)
    • KP EPA (Peshawar)
    • Balochistan EPA (Quetta)
  4. Public Hearing (if required)
  5. Receive NOC – Usually issued in 30–60 days

Documents Needed:

  • Project design and layout
  • Construction plan
  • Waste disposal and water use strategy
  • Mitigation measures
