Environmental approvals are required for projects exceeding 2 or more floors, covering large areas, or located near protected zones.
Steps:
- Hire a licensed environmental consultant
- Conduct an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
- Submit EIA Report to your provincial Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):
- Punjab EPA (Lahore)
- Sindh EPA (Karachi)
- KP EPA (Peshawar)
- Balochistan EPA (Quetta)
- Public Hearing (if required)
- Receive NOC – Usually issued in 30–60 days
